alongside the River Llugwy. For the more adventurous, Plas-y-Brenin
Outdoor Activity Centre is close by, which offers a smorgasbord of
adrenalin-filled skills to master The hostel is situated in the centre of Capel Curig and overlooks a river and forest with views of Moel Siabod. The convenient village location (on an historic coaching route) has inns/pubs, cafes and shops within walking distance. Opening Information Dates open: 1st January to 15th February - Friday and Saturday only 16th February to 2nd November - every day 3rd November to 31st December - Friday and Saturday only Facilities : Rooms: Mostly 2, 4 and 5 plus one 6 and 8 bedded rooms (total 52 beds) Meals available: Breakfast. (Picnic lunch and evening meal for pre booked groups only) Daytime : dining room and toilet. Other facilities: Self-catering kitchen, dining room, two lounges, showers, drying room, cycle store and shop. Wales Tourist Board approved. Open to groups booked in advance all year. Opening Times: Reception Open: 08.00 - 10.00 hrs 17.00 - 22.00 hrs Hostel Closes: 23.00 hrs How do you get to this hostel: Plas Curig is on the A5 in the centre of Capel Curig. Access to the driveway from Betws-y-Coed direction is difficult - continue to junction with A4086, turn around and return to hostel - steep driveway. By bus, ask driver to stop at hostel. |
