Welcome
to the Mountain Lodge Nestled amongst spectacular scenery, between a
river and a network of mountain footpaths, the lodge is uniquely
positioned for outdoor enthusiasts.
The mountain lodge was
purchased and renovated by members of the New Forest Climbing Club,
an informal group of walkers and climbers. When planning a stay here
we would ask you to consider the following points:
The Lodge is situated in the
small rural upland village of Capel Curig. Local businesses employ
local people and range from climbing gear and outdoor equipment
retail outlets to cafes and pubs.
As the foot and mouth outbreak
demonstrated, the secondary spend of tourism is vital to rural
upland communities, to this end we hope you will plan to purchase
any goods or equipment you require for the majority of your stay
locally, to support local trade.
